Motorcycle tours valencia, an unforgettable experience

Valencia, the land of flowers and festivals, is one of the largest and most important cities in Spain, and also one of the liveliest. Located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, you'll find beaches right in the heart of the city. Valencia boasts a rich cultural and historical heritage, with one of the most extensive historic districts on the Iberian Peninsula, making it one of the most visited cities in Spain.

Strolling through its streets and enjoying the numerous possibilities the capital offers is an experience where time can easily slip away. If, after that, you start feeling hungry, it's the perfect time to try Spain's most famous dish right where it originated—the Valencian Paella.

Valencia is the city where ToroBiker, our headquarters, is located, and it serves as the starting point for many of our motorcycle journeys.

Some curiosities about Valencia

Las Fallas

It is one of the most important festivals in Valencia and without a doubt the most recognized internationally, but do you know what its origin is? The Fallas of Valencia began because the carpenters in the area piled up pieces of wood that they could not use for anything and on the eve of Saint Joseph they burned the mountain

Paella is not food

Paella is an almost sacred element of Valencian culture and extremely appreciated nationally and internationally. However, originally it was referred to as “paella rice” and not just plain paella. Because? Because the paella is, in reality, that very large, shallow pan with two handles that we now call a “paella pan”. In order to learn curiosities about Valencia and paella, you should visit the Valencian lagoon. In the rural areas near the Albufera is where paella rice emerged, a simple and humble dish that was prepared with the ingredients that were available from the fields and orchards, for example, vegetables and rabbits.

It has the largest aquarium in Europe

Are you a water lover? If you love knowing and observing all kinds of aquatic creatures, without a doubt the Valencia Oceanographic Center is a mandatory stop for you. With more than 100,000 square meters that house up to 500 different species, the Valencia Oceanographic Center is positioned as the largest in all of Europe. Among other curious species, you can see the only beluga family on the entire continent that lives in an aquarium.

1Valencia

Cuenca is a charming city full of history. Famous for its Hanging Houses, which seem to defy gravity on cliffs, Cuenca offers an old town declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Stroll through its cobblestone streets, visit the imposing Cathedral of Saint Mary and Saint Julian, and explore the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art. Surrounded by the impressive landscape of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park, it is ideal for nature lovers. And we will also try its delicious traditional cuisine.

2Cuenca

It is located just 10 km from the city. Nature in its purest form, dreamy sunsets, boat rides and disconnection in capital letters. Like an urban oasis surrounded by rice fields and forest: that is the L'Albufera Natural Park for everyone who knows it. Visit it if you want to understand the origin of Valencian gastronomy, because can there be a better reason to visit it than to know that it is exactly the place where paella was invented? Discover all the water birds, the vegetation and live like a true local fisherman on the largest lake in Spain. A boat ride in La Albufera is the best way to get closer to the birdlife, and also to relax in this wonderful natural environment. At dusk, the reddish and golden tones of the setting sun give it a truly magical atmosphere. The main attraction is the large freshwater lake of more than 2,800 hectares, the largest in Spain, which gives its name to the park: l'Albufera. Birds of up to 300 different species take refuge here throughout the year, especially aquatic birds that spend the winter here, such as flamingos. In fact, L'Albufera is recognized as one of the Ramsar wetlands of international importance, and since 1994, as a special protection area for birds (SPA).

Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Friday.

When we are all gathered on the first day, we will pick up the motorcycles, take a ride through Valencia visiting some of its most iconic attractions, such as the Torres de Serrano and the Torres de Quart, ancient gates that once guarded the entrance to the city, and settle into the hotel.

We will have dinner at one of the oldest restaurants in Valencia, nestled beneath immense centuries-old ficus trees. The cuisine is as spectacular as the building and the surroundings that house the restaurant.

As a curious and "connecting" detail of this Valencia to Cuenca Tour, I want to tell you that the owner and original chef of the restaurant was born in Cuenca.

Everything flows in this tour like a river through the mountains.

Day 2 - Saturday.

On the second day of the motorcycle ride, we will follow a route that gradually unfolds, just like nature itself.

We'll start on a simple highway that naturally transforms into a winding road with countless curves.

A mandatory stop for lunch to savor the delights of an emblematic Valencian town, which is not in Valencia.

Once again, riding in a group through curves and unique natural landscapes, we will arrive in Cuenca to delight in the finest of its gastronomy.

With our stomachs full, there's no better experience in Cuenca than visiting its famous "Enchanted City."

Let yourself be amazed by the whims that nature and the passage of centuries have turned into genuine works of art.

We could have dinner at any restaurant, but remember that everything flows on this tour, so we'll dine in a natural cave at the foot of a rugged mountain, transformed into a truly unique venue.

There won't be a sense that doesn't enjoy this experience.

The hotel chosen for rest stands out among the rest, not only for the history embraced by the building, declared a "Cultural Heritage Site" in 2005, but also for the care and attention put into every detail by both its owners and the incredible team they have assembled to delight all the guests who visit them.

Day 3 - Sunday.

Refreshed and rested, we'll hit the road again, heading back towards Valencia until we reach the rice fields of the Albufera Natural Park.

And with the same serenity that a river flows into the sea, you will enjoy an authentic Valencian paella in a traditional boat in the middle of the natural park.

Said and done, everything in this Valencia to Cuenca Tour flows, inviting you to immerse yourself in it and be captivated by the wonders that nature presents before your eyes.

You have the entire afternoon free to enjoy the city of Valencia, named "The Best City in the World to Live In" in 2024.

Get lost in its old town, guarded by the Serrano Towers and Quart Towers, visit the bustling neighborhood of Ruzafa, or relax along the Malvarrosa seafront promenade.

If you have time before heading home, don’t miss the City of Arts and Sciences or the world-renowned Oceanographic.

If you don’t have time to see everything... come back another weekend with us, and we’ll prepare a different route so you can finish exploring our city.

Sounds like a good plan, don’t you think?
