Imagine a motorcycle getaway where the Mediterranean breeze mingles with the scents of ancient mountains. Our route begins just outside Valencia, following the CV-35, a highway that gently leads us to Llíria, allowing both you and your bike to sync with every kilometer. But the best is yet to come: the detour to Alcublas immerses us in a changing landscape, where cultivated fields and freshly paved roads prepare us for the ascent of a mountain pass that seems straight out of a postcard. Here, every turn whispers freedom.

Alcublas, that small village steeped in history, welcomes us with its restored windmills, guardians of the region’s agricultural past. It’s the perfect spot to pause, take a deep breath, and feel as if time itself has stood still. But we don’t linger; the route continues, and soon we’ll be descending towards Segorbe, riding roads that glide through the majesty of the Sierra Calderona Natural Park. The excitement builds as we reach Cueva Santa, where every turn in the descent sings to the passion of two wheels.

Our mid-destination is the charming village of Eslida, nestled in the heart of the Sierra de Espadán. Here, the legendary Bar Paquita, a sacred spot for motorcyclists and cyclists alike, awaits us. Since 1975, its breakfasts, unforgettable “Cremaet,” and the warm hospitality of the family that runs it have won the hearts of generations. A good bite to eat, a chat with the locals, and a photo with Paquita’s children will become indelible memories.

The route continues towards Artana, and from there, we cross to the coast until reaching El Palmar, in the heart of Valencia’s famous rice fields. Lunch is an experience in itself at the renowned “El Rek” restaurant, where the Valencian Paella reaches celestial levels, accompanied by a sangria that refreshes both body and soul.

To end this epic journey, the CV-500 takes us back to Valencia, but not before making a magical stop at the Albufera Natural Park. Here, the sunset becomes a work of art, with golden hues reflecting on the water while you, exhausted yet fulfilled, realize you’ve just experienced an adventure that will stay with you forever.

This route is more than just a motorcycle ride; it’s an immersion in nature, culture, and the free spirit of the Mediterranean. Get ready to feel the asphalt, conquer mountains, and savor the essence of Valencia like never before!

Itinerary

Meeting at Toro Biker Base
Presentation and briefing by the Toro Biker Guide on the basic safety rules for the route. Distribution of equipment and motorcycles to the participants.

Departure from the route
Departure from the route, seeking the West exit of the city through the CV-35, will take you to Llíria via a simple highway that will facilitate the riders' first contact with the motorcycle. Upon reaching Llíria, we will take the detour towards Alcublas, where the newly asphalted road winds through various cultivated fields, leading to the first ascent of the mountain pass that will take us to one of the towns most associated with the motorcycling world in Valencia. At the exit of Alcublas, we will stop at the restored windmills, a charming glimpse into the region’s agricultural history. These historical landmarks offer a unique insight into traditional Valencian life and are set in a picturesque natural setting. We will continue the route towards Segorbe, taking roads that lead us into the western part of the Sierra Calderona Natural Park. The arrival at Cueva Santa and the descent to Segorbe are among the most enjoyable stretches in terms of motorcycle riding, as you will delight in taking curves of all kinds surrounded by the park's natural scenery. After regrouping at the roundabout at the entrance to Altura, we will continue crossing the city of Segorbe until we reach the detour towards Castellnovo via the CV-200. This more open road will gradually lead us into the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park until we reach Ahín, where, immersed in nature, we will arrive at our first destination: Eslida. The Bar Paquita in Eslida is undoubtedly one of the most beloved and valued classics by both motorcyclists and cyclists from Valencia and its surroundings. The good work of Mrs. Paquita, who combines her natural friendliness with a variety of breakfasts that have delighted generations (the bar was inaugurated in 1975), is joined by the incredible and equally famous "Cremaet," whose recipe was developed by her husband Rafael—a simply heavenly closure to what will surely be a sandwich to remember and a more than pleasant time surrounded by a unique atmosphere. Currently, their children Rafa and Vicent run the bar with the same philosophy of service and friendliness, with whom we will take a photo for the memory.

Departure from Eslida
Departure from Eslida towards Artana on the CV-223 until reaching the CV-10, which will lead us directly to the A-7 highway. Following the highway around the city of Valencia, always with the sea to our left, we will reach the Sollana exit. Bordering the town, we will venture into secondary roads in the heart of the fantastic fields where the majority of the famous Valencia Rice is cultivated. These paths will take us to El Palmar.

Lunch
Lunch at one of the most renowned rice restaurants in El Palmar, "El Rek," distinguished with the Traveler's Choice quality seal for its quality in service and cuisine. Acclaimed by the locals, it is considered one of the best restaurants to savor the globally famous "Paella Valencia" accompanied by its equally famous Sangria.

Back to Valencia
After delighting our palate with the delights of the most typical Valencian cuisine, we will take the CV-500 back to Valencia and make a final stop at the La Albufera Natural Park. Here, we will contemplate this marvel of nature and take photos of the sunset.
