Hello, I’m Rafa Payá, the person behind the Toro Biker experiences, and today I’d like to propose something a little different…
We’re heading out on a short motorbike route to the El Garbí viewpoint, making a stop along the way for a traditional mid-morning lunch, before reaching a still wild corner of the mountains from where you’ll enjoy, without a doubt, the best views over the city of Valencia and its surroundings.

Of course, during your visit to Valencia you shouldn’t miss the City of Arts and Sciences, the Oceanogràfic or the old town… but there is so much more to discover in my city beyond these classic sights that everyone visits. What I’m offering you is something most people never do, either because they don’t know the place or because it’s not included in standard tourist routes. And I can assure you, it’s one of the most authentic spots around Valencia.

It’s true that a bit of riding experience is recommended, but the route is not particularly demanding. With a 125cc licence (or a car licence, if applicable), it’s more than enough to enjoy this experience—one that will surely become one of your best memories of this wonderful city.

Route, mid-morning lunch and ascent to El Garbí

At 08:30 hrs we will meet at the motorbike pick-up point. After handing out the bikes and adjusting the equipment, we’ll hold a short safety briefing to explain the route guidelines. Around 09:00 hrs we’ll leave Valencia heading towards our destination, following an easy route that takes us out of the city and onto winding roads that pass through several villages until we reach the foothills of El Garbí. After enjoying a short but spectacular stretch of curves surrounded by nature, we’ll arrive at the restaurant where we’ll enjoy a typical Valencian mid-morning lunch, including picaeta, sandwich, soft drinks and coffee. Lunch usually finishes around 11:30 hrs, when a short ride along a scenic road will take us to the point where we’ll leave the bikes and enjoy a pleasant 5-minute walk to our final destination: El Garbí Viewpoint. The viewpoint undoubtedly offers the best views of the city of Valencia and its surroundings, so make sure you leave some space in your photo gallery to capture some of the best shots of the trip! There’s no rush to soak up the peace and the views, but eventually we must head back. At around 12:30 hrs, we’ll start the return journey, which will take approximately one to one and a half hours. We’ll ride straight back to the motorbike return point, where we’ll drop them off around 13:30–14:00 hrs. Once the bikes are returned, the activity comes to an end—and the memories begin! Our recommendation is to take the opportunity to enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants in the Malvarrosa Beach area, just a 10-minute walk from the end point of the experience. Enjoy!
